What do I do with my kids?
We believe it is important for families to worship together so we encourage children to be with their parents during the first half of the worship service. We also recognize that instruction is best when it’s age appropriate, so children are dismissed to their own classes after a short children’s message. All members of our children's ministry have been background checked for your peace of mind.
When you arrive at church, before the service, your children will be registered. You’ll receive a "Child Check" number to positively match you with your child. This will also help us conveniently and anonymously alert you in case your child needs you.
What can I expect when I visit your church?
You can expect to be welcomed and to feel "at home" here. Our members and regular attenders come from many walks of life, places, and backgrounds. We have babies to senior citizens, bikers to CPAs – you won’t believe how diverse and, yet, similar our congregation feels to you. Oh, and dress CASUAL! Your suit is for work and dinners at fancy restaurants.
How can I help out?
First, just show up! We care more about being the church than doing church. When you are ready to jump in and get involved, there are many places where you can fit in - small group ministry, music ministry, discipleship, children’s ministry, student ministry, media, sound, greeting, and on and on! There’s definitely a PLACE for you!
How will your church be unique?
We are not trying to be unique - we are striving to be sincere and obedient to the calling God has placed on this ministry. Quite simply, we are a community of people who are trying to reach out and serve people that have given up on church, or are searching for hope. We truly care for every person that shows up, and we teach truth from the Bible in a way that people can understand and enjoy. If that makes us unique, then we'll take the compliment!
